Brainmelt

This piece is like a silent scream. The bold lines and contrasting hues just jump off the page.
I can't quite tell what this piece means, but it feels like it's trying to say something. There's a lot going on here, every time I look at it I see something new. The heart in the middle serves as a good focus point for the rest of the drawing and makes the overall piece seem more balanced.
The paint splatter up in the top left corner has a really nice effect, and I liked it, but I can't help but feel the lack of brightness in the bottom right sort of makes the art, well...lean to the left a little.
Still, good job. This is a piece that makes me think. What it is I'm thinking of, I still have yet to discover myself. But I can tell that I'm thinking.
